Gabriela Martinez, Secretary
Gabriela has worked in the oil and gas industry for nearly 20 years as a geologist both in Argentina and the U.S. She received her MS in geology from CSU and her MS in PE from TTU where she also received her Ph.D. in geology. Gabriela worked for almost 15 years at Schlumberger where she got experience in petrophysicist and geomechanics participating in the development of applications for conventional and unconventional reservoirs.
Always interested in sedimentary depositional environments, Gabriela is now taking the early steps into geologic risk evaluations. During her undergrad studies at Buenos Aires University, Gabriela felt the hanger for learning material, so when she arrived to the U.S. and was introduced to well-known authors, Gabriela said as part of her introduction, “oh, I read you”.
