March Geology Brewery Rendezvous

  • Prost Brewing 2540 19th Street Denver, CO 80211 United States (map)

Rocky Mountain Section SEPM (Society for Sedimentary Geology) will be holding a Geology Brewery Rendezvous networking event at a different brewery each month. There are so many breweries in the Denver area that many people have not yet tried out, so we want to help them out by meeting up each month and drinking some tasty beers. Let’s face it, Geology and drinking beer go hand in hand!! Most events are focused on hanging out, having fun, and a smidgen of shop talk, but some of the events may have a charitable component to them (i.e., food drive, clothing drive, etc.). This event is geared towards our fellow geologists but is open to anyone and will focus on family-friendly locations. This month’s brewery will be Prost Brewing. These guys have a love and passion for traditional German style beers. The brewhouse was transported from a defunct brewing in Germany. Located right off of 20th and I25. If you are into traditional beer styles this is the place to go. Prost has recently rebranded and are making big waves in the Denver beer community. Come enjoy and see what the buzz is about Please feel free to post this along to any and all that would be interested.
